Cape Town – Africa’s real gross domestic product growth could reach about 7% this year, from a forecast of about 5,5% growth for 2010, the African Development Bank’s president said yesterday.

Bank president Donald Kaberuka was speaking at the AfDB’s Committee of 10 meeting. He told journalists separately that 7% growth was the minimum that Africa needed. – Reuters
