Johannesburg – Hotels and resorts group Sun International said yesterday its new complex in Chile – the $250-million (R1,9-billion) Monticello Grand Casino and Entertainment World in Mostazal, 60km south of Santiago – had been officially opened.

While the 1500-slot, 80-table casino has been operational for a year, the full complex took a further year in development and opened a few days ago. The casino already accounts for 33% of gaming revenue in Chile. – I-Net Bridge
