Game: Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City Platform: X-box 360 Age Restriction: 18Originally released as expansion packs available for download only, Episodes of Liberty City combines the two episodic releases into one compilation that carries on the tradition of GTA.
Players will get the chance to play two games that while still similar to each other in many ways, are also different experiences in their own rights.
In the first title, The Lost and Damned, players will experience the ups and downs of a local biker gang, the Lost, who have to deal with rival gangs and a brewing civil war within their own ranks.
The second game, The Ballad of Gay Tony, puts players in the shoes of night club owner and bodyguard Luis, as he struggles to keep himself and his boss out of trouble with the local mob.
While no real changes have been made to the GTA formula, the improved graphics and new missions make this a must-have game for fans of GTA.
Game: LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga Platform: PC Age Restriction: 3The initial impression of this game is a good one. There are at least 100 playable characters, each with a class-type and different attacks or abilities. There are also quite a few vehicles that can be found, built or scavenged during the course of the game.
As the title suggests, the player takes the characters in either solo or two-player modes through the six Star Wars Episodes. There are numerous types of game mode with story-mode and free-play being the most important. The free play lets you go back to the level that has been completed to unlock further items.
For a bunch of Lego pieces stuck together, the game play, levels and models are quite flexible and flowing, with snippets of the sound track that was made famous by the movies popping up every now and again. The best part of the game, however, is the ability to solve puzzles in at least one way or another every time.
