The two met when Giuliana interviewed Bill at an event about his experiences of winning the business reality-TV show.

They quickly fell in love and were married in 2007.

Now the couple is settling into married life – and has decided to share glimpses of this on their new show, Giuliana and Bill .

Unlike most couples, however, these two are living across the country from each other, with Bill developing real estate in Chicago and Giuliana covering celebrity interviews, red carpet events and entertainment news for E! in Los Angeles.

Speaking to My Weekend from Los Angeles, in between filming for E! News, Giuliana said fans would get to see a reality show that was “positive”.

“People who watch this show will see how Bill and I juggle our careers and marriage from across the country and how we make it work.”

From building their Chicago dream home, to hanging out with each other’s outrageous families, to wild weekends in Las Vegas, Giuliana and Bill are shown living life.

And, while living in two different cities can be challenging, they are committed to cellphone conversations and cross-country flights in order to make their marriage work.

But, as with every couple, there can be bumps in the road – Giuliana even tries to relive her single days with a girls' night out in Hollywood.

“My job is in Hollywood while Bill’s is in Chicago. We’re miles apart from each other and while it may not always be easy, we make it work,” she said.

The series also offers a taste of what a day on the job is like for each of the Rancics. Viewers will follow Giuliana every step of the way from E! News morning meetings to behind-the-scenes access to some of the world’s biggest celebrities.

Bill previously worked for Trump following his win on The Apprentice, but has since moved on. He is now developing real estate on his own, and viewers will get to view his multi-million dollar construction projects.

“I’d like to think we’re a modern couple and Bill and I don’t want to go down the path of making a sleazy reality show in order to get ratings. We’re both real and we wanted to show how we make things work in the craziness of Hollywood.”

Although Giuliana and Bill see the world quite differently, their commitment to their marriage and their love for each other keeps them together.

And, while Giuliana is pulling out all the stops to make Bill fall in love with Los Angeles, it looks like their long-distance marriage is here to stay.
