ON Saturday, Kareen’s Dance Studio will present an adaptation of the classic story Snow White at the Port Elizabeth Opera House.

Forty-five energetic and colourful dancers aged from six to 17 take part.

Anecke Greyling, who was the runner-up in the junior modern championships at the PE Dance Festival, plays Snow White. Other PE Dance Festival winners taking part include Chanri Strydom, who won the seven to eight years age group modern dance category, and Carla van den Berg, who has qualified for next year’s senior modern championships.

They play the roles of Dopy and the Evil Queen.

The shows take place at 2.30pm and 7pm, Tickets are R20 in the afternoon and between R25 (preschool) and R50 (adults) in the evening.
