EP junior tennis squads named

THE PE and District junior tennis squads resume today with a total of 119 juniors in the system.

This is up from 93 juniors who were involved in the first term.

After a successful first term, extra squads have been been added to the U-12 and U-14 divisions. The squads are made up of all age-groups, ranging from the U-10 rookies to the U-16 and 18 Elite squads.

Any junior not in the squad system is encouraged to participate in various tournaments to gain experience and exposure. The PE and D junior selection committee utilises national and local events for selection.

The squads are:

U-16 and 18 Elite squad at UPE (3-5pm): Andre Moolman, Greg Rubin, Robert Smuts, Paul Stander, Jaco Van Staden, Andri Tiran, Stefani Marais, Danielle Bezuidenhout, Sebastini De Jongh, Theresa Reynolds, Suphia Cowley, Jo-Ann Cowley, Marelize vd Merwe and Michelle Richmond. Coach: Hennie de Klerk.
