Airport’s toilets an absolute disgrace THE Airports Company is to be congratulated on its imaginative display of wire “cricketers” which will greet the thousands of visitors expected in Port Elizabeth for the World Cup Cricket matches.... Committee needs independent thinkers THE newly established national food price monitoring committee (“Food price body to protect public”, Herald January 10), is suspect, as it is loaded with members of the status quo.... Shocked by council funeral requirement LET me express my utter shock and disgust at what is happening at the Motherwell graveyard.... Remove vagrants from park areas THE parks department in Port Elizabeth does a fine job and there have been letters in The Herald attesting to their good work in the Rink Street and lower Cape Road areas.... I WAS appalled to find out that the World 125 Max Challenge, being held at the new Zwartkops karting track outside Pretoria, was not being shown live on Supersport.... |
