ILLEGAL and legal bait digging and the issues raised by Leon Kilian of the Swartkops Trust in The Herald of May 4 (“Coastal management has no effect on bait digging”) are very pertinent and there are many residents as well as hundreds of regular anglers who live alongside the river front or come from town who will testify to these activities by both the so-called registered bait diggers as well as the illegal bait diggers....more
THERE is during May and June an ongoing crime blitz in the suburbs of Broadwood, Charlo, Fairview, Walmer Downs and Mangold Park.
