Growing support as main parties win more votes
THE ANC polled 11650748 votes in last Wednesday‘s election, 769833 more than it did in the 2004 general election. But it was outdone in terms of increase in sheer numbers of votes by the DA that hiked its total by just over one million from 1931201 to 2945 829.
