Water emergency over, but high tariffs remain

Officials pass the buck while residents are STILL charged heavy rates

Why are Nelson Mandela Bay ratepayers still charged punitive water tariffs when there is enough in the dams to last almost 1,000 days?

The municipality says it needs permission from the department of water and  sanitation to reduce tariffs, but the department says the decision rests with the Bay council...
