Two young women were shot dead in a flat in Gqeberha on Friday morning before the suspect allegedly killed himself.
Ambulance personnel and the police were on the scene at Gordon Place, in Central, for about two hours.
According to an eyewitness, the suspected shooter entered the flat on the second floor at about 9.30am.
The victims, whose names are known to The Herald but have not yet been released by the police, both worked as waitresses at a Gqeberha beachfront club.
