Chippa United will be looking to continue their winning run when they face AmaZulu in a DStv Premiership fixture at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on Saturday (3pm).
The Gqeberha-based side have enjoyed four straight wins in their league matches which has propelled them to eighth position on the log.
Their most recent success was a 2-0 victory over SuperSport United.
A win against Usuthu would keep them in the top eight.
Despite some injury concerns, co-coach Thabo September said his troops had prepared well for Saturday’s game.
The Chilli Boys are on 32 points after playing 24 games — just three points away from the 35-point safety zone.
“We are playing AmaZulu, which is a big game for us,” September said.
“I think three points is vital to maintain our position in the top eight and also just to continue the momentum.
“As a team, every game we play or go into we want to win it.
“We know we are playing away, but we are going to give ourselves the best chance to win the game.
“The guys are looking good. I think preparations have gone well his week.
“We still have Malebogo Modise and Kamohelo Mahlatsi out with an injury, but we are looking good.
“We are going to go to Durban and compete against AmaZulu to try to get the three points.”
